Recently, the partnership has resulted in the successful completion of mid-term evaluations of two critical Global Environment Facility (GEF)-financed projects. In Liberia, the focus was on natural capital accounting, a pivotal step in understanding and preserving the country's rich coastal biodiversity. In Nepal, the evaluation centered on landscape connectivity, crucial for wildlife conservation, critical tiger landscapes and ecosystem health.
Currently, Interamna and SETIN are embarking on an ambitious journey with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to develop two GEF-financed projects in the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau. These projects are child projects under the umbrella of the of the innovative Blue and Green Island Integrated Program, aiming to harmonize marine and terrestrial conservation efforts.
